Switching from Setmore to Holder

Setmore's customer export is a single file, but the history has to come out three months at a time — there's no way to pull your whole booking record in one go.

What comes with you

• Clients: yes, from the Customers export.
• Consent status: no. Setmore holds no marketing consent field. Everyone arrives with none recorded.
• History: partly, in three-month blocks.

Export from Setmore

1. Go to Customers. Click Options, under the blue +, then Export Customers
2. The CSV is emailed — only to the account owner, so check you're logged in as them or ask them to run it
3. For history, on the web, go to Settings > Booking Page > Reports. Set a range of three months or less, click Generate, then Export as .XLS. Repeat for each three-month block

Import to Holder

• Upload the customer CSV as it downloaded. Date and phone formats are normalised on import
• Read the column mapping check before anything is written
• Combine the history blocks before uploading if you want one file, or upload them one at a time — Holder handles either
• Duplicates are flagged side by side with a merge view

What Holder rebuilds rather than imports

• Booking pages, session types, availability, packs
• Under an hour, by hand

What doesn't come with you

• Marketing consent. Decide who you have permission to email and set it deliberately
• Booking page design and reminders. No export exists. Note down your reminder timings before you close the account
• Payments. These stay with your payment processor
• Zoom. No integration transfers. In Holder you paste your own link on a session, one session at a time

The last step

• Repoint the booking link: website, bio, email signature, anywhere it appears
• Take a test booking as a client and check the confirmation lands
• Keep Setmore live until the last booking made in it has happened

Deep history imports are a paid one-off service, not part of a trial or a plan. If you want one, send us your export before you start a trial: we'll quote you for it, and tell you honestly what will and won't come with you either way.
