Do I need a card to try Holder?

No. The 30-day trial includes every feature and needs no card.

How long does setup take?

Setup is an afternoon's work — you can be taking bookings the same day.

Can I bring my clients across?

Yes — import a CSV; we line the columns up, and can merge several lists. See Switching to Holder.

Does Holder work in my language?

Your clients' side can — booking pages, the portal and client emails can run in your own words and your own language. Every plan drafts the whole set in one click; on Practitioner and above you can also edit every string by hand. (Your own workspace is in English for now.)

What's the difference between the plans?

Starter is the solo basics — AI-free, apart from optional language generation for your client pages. Practitioner adds groups, video and music, packs and gift cards, sequences, own-domain email, SMS reminders, a client portal and professional-standard records. Expander adds the growth engine — a relationships CRM with pipelines and forecasts, AI outreach, retreats, analytics — and a free assistant seat.

What's an assistant seat?

A helper who can run your diary, money and approvals, but can't hold sessions. Included free with Expander.

What if I work with other practitioners?

Studio pricing — flat per seat (£29 Practitioner, £49 Expander), from two seats. Everything shared under one roof, and every seat costs less than the solo plan.

Can I change or cancel?

Any time, up or down, prorated. Data always exportable.

Do you take a cut of payments?

No — payments run through your own Stripe account.

Is the AI doing things behind my back?

No. It drafts and prepares; nothing sends or acts until you approve. It's also entirely optional.

Can I turn the AI off?

Completely — one switch turns every AI feature off across your practice. Starter is AI-free, apart from one optional action — generating your client pages in another language.

Do I have to buy AI credits?

No — there are no credits, ever. A generous monthly allowance is included in your plan, and you can see your usage plainly in settings.

Is my client data used to train AI models?

No. It's processed only to produce what you asked for, never used for training, and automatically deleted within 30 days.

Can Holder see my clients' data?

No one at Holder accesses it without your written permission. It's encrypted, sealed from every other practice, and yours to export or delete any time.

Where is my data stored?

Secure servers in the EU (Ireland), under GDPR.

Are my online sessions recorded?

No — they're ephemeral and store nothing once you leave.

Do I need a cookie banner because of Holder?

Not on our account — Holder uses no tracking cookies.

Is there something I can sign?

There's nothing to sign — our Data Processing Agreement is incorporated into the Terms of Service and takes effect automatically when you create your account. If you need a countersigned copy for your own compliance, just ask and we'll also share a full security summary.

A client asks for a copy of their record — can I give them one?

Yes. Open their record, press Print, and your browser makes a PDF of everything: their details, what they've agreed to over time, their form answers as they filled them in, their sessions, and every note with any later corrections kept beside the original. It's made on your own screen and never sent anywhere else. Only you and your practitioners can make one, and each copy is logged.

Do my clients need to download anything?

Nothing — one-click join. And their own portal page opens from a link in their email: no password, ever.

Can clients manage their own bookings?

Yes — reschedule and cancel from their portal, inside rules you set. You're notified, and refunds stay your decision.

Can I still use Zoom?

Yes — paste your own link on any session.

Is the music really better?

Yes. Online video normally crushes music into voice-call audio; Holder plays your own tracks in full 192 kbps stereo — no stutter, no volume drop — in any browser, online or in person. You bring the music (your own recordings, licensed, or royalty-free); streaming services like Spotify are licensed for personal listening rather than group playback, so we don't stream them for you — but on Chrome or Edge you can share a browser tab yourself.

Do you send text reminders?

On Practitioner and above — appointment reminders by SMS alongside email, strictly opt-in for each client, never marketing.

Does Holder work for in-person work too?

Yes — booking, payments, records, forms, and a live in-room music player.

Does Holder work on a phone?

Yes — the whole app works on a phone, and your booking pages always have.
