Switching from Punchpass to Holder

Punchpass's customer list exports in one click, and it's worth taking the pass purchases file too, so anyone holding an unused punch card can be honoured by hand rather than lost in the move.

What comes with you

• Clients: yes, from the Customers export.
• Consent status: no. Punchpass holds no marketing consent field. Everyone arrives with none recorded.
• History: partly, via the attendance report.

Export from Punchpass

1. Go to Customers, choose All Customers, tick Select All, then Export. The file is emailed to you
2. For attendance, go to Reports > Individual Customer Attendances Report, set the dates, and export
3. Also export All Pass Purchases, so you can honour anyone's outstanding passes by hand

Import to Holder

• Upload the customer CSV as it downloaded. Date and phone formats are normalised on import
• Read the column mapping check before anything is written
• Duplicates are flagged side by side with a merge view
• The pass purchases file isn't a client record and doesn't go through this route — keep it to hand for honouring credit

What Holder rebuilds rather than imports

• Booking pages, session types (classes), availability, packs
• Under an hour, by hand. Your passes become packs

What doesn't come with you

• Marketing consent. Decide who you have permission to email and set it deliberately
• Outstanding passes. These need honouring by hand — use the pass purchases export to see who holds what
• Payments. These stay with your payment processor
• Zoom. No integration transfers. In Holder you paste your own link on a session, one session at a time

The last step

• Repoint the booking link: website, bio, email signature, anywhere it appears
• Take a test booking as a client and check the confirmation lands
• Keep Punchpass live until the last booking made in it has happened
