Switching from Momoyoga to Holder

Momoyoga's own export is a plain client list with no consent field, and its attendance history has to be pulled one teacher at a time rather than all at once.

What comes with you

• Clients (Yogis): yes, as a straightforward CSV.
• Consent status: no, from Momoyoga itself. Newsletter opt-ins are only confirmed to travel through its Mailchimp integration — if you use that, export from Mailchimp separately (see our Mailchimp guide) rather than assuming consent is in the Yogis file.
• History: partly, via per-teacher attendance exports.

Export from Momoyoga

1. Go to Yogis > Export and choose CSV.
2. For attendance, go to Teachers, pick a teacher, click Export and set the dates. Repeat for each teacher — there's no combined export.

Watch for: you need to be an Admin to export, and export is only available on selected paid plans.

Import to Holder

• Upload the CSV as it downloaded. Date formats are normalised on import
• Read the column mapping check before anything is written
• If you use the Mailchimp integration for opt-ins, export from Mailchimp too and upload it as its own file, ticking the box confirming they agreed to marketing when you import it
• Duplicates are flagged side by side

What Holder rebuilds rather than imports

• Booking pages, session types (classes), availability, packs
• Under an hour, by hand

What doesn't come with you

• Marketing consent, unless it's carried across via your Mailchimp export
• Class schedules, memberships and pricing plans. No export exists. Rebuild deliberately
• Payments. These stay with your payment processor
• Zoom. No integration transfers. In Holder you paste your own link on a session, one session at a time

The last step

• Repoint the booking link: website, bio, email signature, anywhere it appears
• Take a test booking as a client and check the confirmation lands
• Keep Momoyoga live until the last class made in it has happened

Deep history imports are a paid one-off service, not part of a trial or a plan. If you want one, send us your export before you start a trial: we'll quote you for it, and tell you honestly what will and won't come with you either way.
