Switching from Humanitix to Holder

Humanitix is one of the more straightforward ticketing moves: one Orders export, and it carries a genuine marketing opt-in column rather than leaving consent out entirely.

What comes with you

• People: yes, from the Orders export.
• Consent: yes, in principle. The export includes a marketing opt-in Yes/No column. See the import step below for how to turn that into consent Holder will actually act on.
• History: yes, one row per order.

Export from Humanitix

1. Go to Reports > Orders and filter to all events
2. Click Export CSV. It includes a marketing opt-in Yes/No column
3. Optionally, download your followers from Account > Hosts > your profile > Followers

Import to Holder

• Upload the CSV as it downloaded. Date and phone formats are normalised on import
• Read the column mapping check before anything is written
• For consent: filter the export down to the people whose marketing opt-in column says yes, upload that as its own file, and tick the box confirming they agreed to marketing when you import it. Holder doesn't read consent out of a column automatically — this is what makes it count
• Duplicates are flagged side by side

What Holder rebuilds rather than imports

• Booking pages, session types, availability, packs
• Event listings, rebuilt as sessions
• Under an hour, by hand

What doesn't come with you

• Marketing consent for anyone who said no, or wasn't asked
• Event page design. No export exists. Rebuild deliberately
• Payments and payouts. These stay with your payment processor
• Zoom. No integration transfers. In Holder you paste your own link on a session, one session at a time

The last step

• Repoint your booking link everywhere it appears
• Take a test booking as a client and check the confirmation lands
• Keep Humanitix running until the last event on it has happened

Deep history imports are a paid one-off service, not part of a trial or a plan. If you want one, send us your export before you start a trial: we'll quote you for it, and tell you honestly what will and won't come with you either way.
