Fresha's client list is one clean CSV, as long as you have the right permission to download it — card details never leave Fresha, by design, whatever you export.
What comes with you
- Clients: yes, from the Clients list export.
- Consent status: no. Fresha holds no marketing consent field. Everyone arrives with none recorded.
- History: partly, via Client insights.
Export from Fresha
- Go to Clients > Clients list > Options and choose CSV
- For visit history, go to Reports > Client insights > Options and choose CSV
Watch for: you need the "Can download clients" permission to run either export. Card details never export — that stays with Fresha's payment processing.
Import to Holder
- Upload the CSV as it downloaded. Date and phone formats are normalised on import
- Read the column mapping check before anything is written
- Duplicates are flagged side by side with a merge view
What Holder rebuilds rather than imports
- Booking pages, session types, availability, packs
- Under an hour, by hand
What doesn't come with you
- Marketing consent. Decide who you have permission to email and set it deliberately
- Card details and payment methods. Never exported, by design
- Online store, memberships and gift cards. Rebuild deliberately, or honour outstanding ones by hand
- Zoom. No integration transfers. In Holder you paste your own link on a session, one session at a time
The last step
- Repoint the booking link: website, bio, email signature, anywhere it appears
- Take a test booking as a client and check the confirmation lands
- Keep Fresha live until the last booking made in it has happened
Deep history imports are a paid one-off service, not part of a trial or a plan. If you want one, send us your export before you start a trial: we'll quote you for it, and tell you honestly what will and won't come with you either way.
